Tony's Finer Foods (also known as Tony's fresh market) is a Chicago-based grocery store chain. Tony's, as it is often called, was founded by Tony Ingraffia and Domenico Bambino, two Italian immigrants who wanted to make something of themselves. The first Tony's store was opened by only five employees; one cashier, two meat employees, one produce employee, and of course, Tony. It remained that way for a full decade. But progress, and consequently, expansion, was destined to come.
Fast forward to about 40 years later, and Tony's has become one of the biggest Chicagoland-based grocery stores. The company now operates about 16 locations, employs around four hundred vendors, and has served thousands of customers.
Tony's, like the founder Tony Ingraffia believed, is based on the ethics of hard work and a positive attitude.
